Only if you've authored a relevant book, and only then if you could get media to write about it in way that creates curiosity about you and the subject of your book.
I couldn't do it. As much as I want my books to stir the pot, I, personally, don't want to "physically" stir the pot and get that kind of attention. It takes a certain person to feed off that kind of energy, and, apparently, it works. I think that it would spin me in the wrong direction and get me distracted.
What about a holding a press conference with people made ill by the legal poisons you write about?
That I would do, and would actually enjoy, but I wouldn't have an ice cream truck outside in the parking lot.
What kind of ice cream?
