Creating A Buzz

This is my first time as an author. Having learned from agents that my story has legs, but my writing falls short, I adjusted by finding a creative writer that I brought onboard as a partner rather than as a ghostwriter. We have completed a full proposal and written seven chapters as well as create a personal website and launch Twitter and Facebook campaigns.

I have found that it is important to create interest in a book even before it has been written to attract an agent. Okay, I am again adjusting my approach. We have created a website that updates folks on our process of moving from concept to query to agent to print. I secured a 30-minute interview on KNPR Radio here in Las Vegas and am pitching an interview to other media sources. I believe the base has been built and a platform is now in place.

This still isn't enough. I need to create a buzz. I need to create my own break. Thoughts?
